Wall Street Address
The funds that send a large American business to the United States Ex-Secretariat, Hillary Clinton, have become more than such donations to all the remaining pooled candidates. The Wall Street Journal describes this by analysing data from the non-partisan Centre for Responsible Policy (Center for Responsive Politics).
Clinton ' s donations from large financiers amount to $4,2 million, $344,000 of which were transferred only in March.
According to the analysis of the financial statements of the election campaigns, some of the donors from Wall Street who supported the republics of Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio, after their departure from the presidential race, decided to fund the Clinton campaign.
Among the ex-secretary ' s donations, funds from Wall Street last year accounted for 32 per cent, in January-February 2016 for 33 per cent, and in March their share rose to 53 per cent. Comparing: monthly donations in favour of Donald Tramp from large financial structures and businessmen were less than 1 per cent. Three quarters of his election campaign, he funded himself. However, as the publication writes, last week, a billionaire said that it would be more active to attract investors from the side to get a foot with Clinton.
Some donors have already responded to this appeal, stating that they are planning to support the Republican. Among them is a billionaire Ken Langon and founder of the Hedge Fund of Anthony Scaramucci.
At the same time, some of those who have traditionally sponsored the Republican Party have spent millions of dollars this year on a campaign against Trump, notes the newspaper. Thus, hedge fund owner Elliott Management Paul Singer provided $16 million in March, and the family of the founder of Ameritrade Joe Ricketts donated $5,5 million.
