The head of the JP Morgan Jamie Damon Bank in June became one of the few billionaires of active bankers. The bank became the largest lending organization in the United States during its administration, managed to overcome the crisis and a wave of fines.
The Executive Director of JP Morgan Chase, the largest asset in the United States, Jamie Dimon, became a billionaire, wrote Bloomberg on 3 June. His condition, mainly from JP Morgan, reached $1,1 billion, is evidenced by Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Dymon's journey to the billionaires club is unstandard: usually the billionaires in Wall Street become managers of hedge or investment funds, not bank managers. Nevertheless, the 59-year-old Damon succeeded not only in disrupting the " order of things " , but also in holding the bank, which he has been managing for over a decade, through a storm of financial crisis and a series of scandals with regulators, increasing its capitalization over that time by almost half.

Grandpa and Father Dymon were stock brokers. The son will subsequently hire his father: in 2009, JP Morgan hired Theodor Dimon to work with private clients.
Jamie was educated at the University of Tafts (Tufts University) in Massachusetts in the direction of economics and psychology, and then went to Harvard Business School after two years at the Consulting. He went to school with the future CEO General Electric Jeffrey Immelt and Steve Burke.
Between Daimon ' s first and second course, he was interrogated in Goldman Sachs and then received offers to work in the investment bank, both in the bank and in Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers, but eventually, with the family ' s participation, he went to American Express. His father worked in the AmEx brokering unit, and then CEO Sandy Vale, the future founder of Citigroup and the cult of Wall Street, was a long-standing family friend. As BusinessWeek wrote, Dymon's parents showed one of his university works about the formation of American Express Vale, so Jamie won not only a job but also a mentor for years.
